Welding & Fabrication
Steel and aluminum fabrication in Vancouver, from structural skids and equipment frames to custom railings, stairs and gates. Send us a drawing, or we'll come to your site and measure.
How a project runs
- Drawing or site measure. Send your drawing and we'll quote from it. No drawing? Our estimator visits your site, takes measurements and photos, and talks through what you need.
- Shop drawing and approval. We prepare a shop drawing with dimensions, material and finish. Nothing gets cut until you sign off.
- Fabrication. Cut, fit, weld and finish in our Lower Mainland shop.
- Delivery and installation. Pick up from our shop or have it delivered to site. Railings, stairs and gates are installed by our crew.
Structural & industrial fabrication
Built to drawing for plants, shops and contractors. Assemblies are tacked and squared on a fixture table before final weld-out, so frames come out true and holes line up.
- Structural frames, bases and skids
- Equipment stands, brackets and mounting plates
- Welded assemblies built to drawing, one-off or in batches
- Repairs and modifications to existing equipment
Architectural fabrication
Railings, stairs and gates built to your site's measurements and finished to handle Vancouver winters.
- Interior and exterior stair, deck and balcony railings
- Spiral staircases
- Driveway and garden gates swing and sliding
We measure on site, draw it up for your approval, and install it. Exterior work is galvanized and/or powder coated for corrosion protection. Railings are built to British Columbia Building Code guard and handrail requirements. See recent projects in the gallery.
Materials
Steel and aluminum. Processes: MIG, stick and spot / resistance welding.
Finishing
Welds are ground and blended where the drawing, or the look, calls for it. Powder coating and hot-dip galvanizing are done through our finishing partners and coordinated by us, so you get one finished part back instead of three vendors to manage.
What to send
Industrial and to-drawing work: a drawing (PDF, DWG or STEP) with overall dimensions, material, quantity, and any weld symbols or finish notes.
Railings, stairs and gates: photos of the space with a tape measure in the shot, rough dimensions, and a picture of a style you like. We'll confirm exact measurements on site before anything is built.
